I hope and pray you sent this letter to Disney. I have resorted to Youtube viewing in order to get my fix. I am expecting my first child and how can I expect her to be well balanced if she doesn't know the ZZ Top were really the three men in a tub?

That was a different game, I think it was World Games http://www.gamespot.com/pages/image_viewer/boxshot.php?pid=587783&popup=1
You also did log tossing and ice skating. If I recall it was hard as hell.

didn't the california games have the event where you were just a cliff diver? that was the best! however whenever i would fail at properly diving my guy i would be disappointed that his death wasn't more gruesome.

i had quints and they always scared me - they're freakin' creepy. karolyn, you have helped me articulate why they are so creepy (15 years later) - it's the hair in proportion to their age. also, i too used to pretend they were barbie's children until the barbie corporation made barbie toddlers - they were better looking so i aborted the quints.

timecapsl, you just made my day. My Polly Pocket stash -- about 15 strong -- might be long gone, but the memories are everlasting. Barbie can suck it.

It should be duly noted that when visiting the Nintendo store at Rockefeller center, there is an array of consoles spanning the history of Nintendo with nary a mention of the redheaded stepchild of the Nintendo family. It seems they have just decided to pretend like Virtual Boy never even happened. Even Robotic Operating Buddy(aka R.O.B.) gets more action.

I would say that "Wild Wild West" trumps "MIB" in the Will Smith dept.

I also don't understand how you can badmouth David Bowie, but leave the mittens on for Prince. If it weren't for his soundtrack, Tim Burton's Batman would have been less dated (Kim Basinger's hair notwithstanding) and that much more awesome. His music felt awkward and out of place. There isn't anyone with integrity in Hollywood that would say "You know what would make BATMAN a great film instead of just good? Prince." I blame cocaine and Jon Peters and not necessarily in that order.

Bowie's soundtrack for Labyrinth, conversely, turned it into a fantasy pop-musical. It was unique and while dated, fits in perfectly for some reason (with the exception of the ball-room dance sequence - blah). Labyrinth has the 80's running through its veins and the addition of that music made it that much more watchable. Keep in mind, also, that the roots of this blend is consistent with Muppets-style celeb-variety. So, if anything, it's true to Jim Henson.
